Clarkston Cares, a program of Remerge, Inc., helps families move from crisis to stability.

For families living in poverty, one setback - like illness, transportation issues, or reduced work hours - can trigger a devastating cycle of homelessness. This often leads to trauma, health decline, disrupted education, and even the heartbreaking separation of children into foster care.

Clarkston Cares interrupts that cycle by providing emergency assistance, vital resources, and supportive relationships that empower families to move from barely surviving to thriving and giving back.

We primarily serve single-parent households, immigrants, and refugees in the diverse communities of Clarkston, Tucker, Decatur, and Stone Mountain. Families come to us during crises such as illness, accidents, unemployment, or underemployment—and we stand with them through it all.
